Where do I begin? I feel as if I have been running like a crazy woman for a few weeks now. We had a lot of things happen at once so this may take a few posts to get through. First, our new computer has been acting up. For some reason we think when we updated our anti-virus software, it processed a bad update. Getting on line is hit or miss these days. Hopefully we will get this issue fixed once and for all. Secondly, we bought a new car! I have been driving my little 1998 Pontiac Sunfire convertible for 11 years. It had over 176,000 miles on it! We have been putting off buying a new car for a long time now, we have been so spoiled with no car payment and it still ran so well. It was also so much fun to drive around in, especially on a hot night. All good things had to come to an end though because it was really starting to look a little worse for wear lately and was starting to make a lot of weird noises. We were hoping to wait until we had a baby to get a new car but that just isn't happening anytime in the near future so we decided to take advantage of the GM Employee pricing sale and buy one now.
We decided on the 2008 Saturn Vue and I am just in love. I am literally giddy every time I drive this thing. It is such a smooth ride and it is such a sharp looking little SUV! The gas mileage on it can't be beat either. Last week we spent probably 10 hours total test driving, comparison shopping, and then actually purchasing the vehicle. We would literally walk in the door every night and just crash. Car shopping is exhausting!
Anyway, I will post pictures of my new baby here soon. I would also like to dedicate my next post to my original baby, my Sunfire. And yes, there were tears when I traded her in. We had a lot of good times she and I.
We also ran our race, finalized the contract with our landscaper, and I received my new duvet comforter which I love. A million things to post about so I will hopefully be in touch.
