I have been training these past few weeks for the Outrun Ovarian Cancer 5K on August 23rd. I have to honestly admit I am not a runner. I used to hate running because I was so bad at it. I would become winded and crampy in only a few short minutes and I would not make it far at all. With a lot of hardwork, I have slowly become one. I love taking aerobics classes and must have built up my stamina these past few years of going to Heidi's grueling classes. I attempted my first 5K around the neighborhood a few weeks ago and actually made it without stopping! And no side stabbing cramps! I was completely shocked at my ability and have been addicted ever since. I love it and am so glad that I can finally say that I am going to run in my first race. My goal is to complete it without stopping or walking. Wish me luck!!!!
