Don't Stop Believin!

We went to the Journey/Heart/Cheap Trick concert this weekend with the new neighbors and had such a blast! There were 15 of us that rode down in a limo bus. The limo bus was definitely the way to go. We parked in the front lot, beat the crowds going in, and then didn't have to sit in an hour of traffic on the way home.
I have to admit I was a little apprehensive at first when I heard that Steve Perry was no longer the lead singer of Journey. Here I was thinking that the songs were not going to be anything like what I remembered. Boy was I wrong, their new lead singer was fantastic!!!! If you closed your eyes, he was Steve Perry without a doubt! We also lucked out on the weather. It rained all day before the concert but Jeff was the hero and brought a tarp to lay underneath the blanket. You could definetly spot the ones who did not have tarps with them, they were the ones walking around with the wet behinds!!!!

Us on the bus on the ride down to Blossom.

Here we are pretending to be "Stoner Karen and Jeff"

  1. I'm SOOO jealous! I absolutely LOVE Journey! Their greatest hits cd is always in my truck's cd player. I'm obsessed and am proud to admit it.

  2. That sounds fabulous! The concert came here too and I was so tempted to go, but didn't. Glad to hear you had a great time!

  3. Sounds like you had a great time! And that limo bus is definitely the way to go--great idea!
