Better late than never, I wanted to post pictures of our Christmas trees before we took them down. We had two trees this year, a fake tree in the living room and a real tree in the great room. We had a little issue with the tree topper on the real tree, I don't know if it was too heavy or what, but it seemed like every day it would bend over more and more. It provided us with some humor at least. It was a bittersweet Christmas for us this year. It was the first Christmas in our new home even though we officially moved in December 22 last year. I didn't put up any real decorations last year except for a mini tree. This was the first full blown Christmas in the house. I didn't get too into it this year, I more or less used the decorating and preparations as a distraction from our baby uncertainties when I wasn't passed out on the couch from pregnancy exhaustion. I also want to apologize to everyone for not sending out any Christmas cards this year. My heart just wasn't into it and decided to just fore go the whole thing this year. Hopefully next Christmas will be a little happier for us.
