One perk about being on maternity leave until March is that I get to watch the house at the end of our cul-de-sac go up. It's nice to see growth and progress in the middle of a cold and snowy winter. My heart goes out to the Amish carpenters who are building this home, just looking at them makes me so cold!!!! It's below freezing out there and they are out there working away.
It will done before you know it! Those pictures look cold!

ReplyDeleteI love that we got in our neighborhood when we did. We take walks all the time just to see all the new houses going up. It's fun isn't it =)
ReplyDeleteHi Emily, there is one builder in our neighborhood and they employ the Amish to do their carpentry work. The talent and work ethic of those men is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi DP, yes, I love walking around the neighborhood to look at all the homes being built and how people are decorating them. So fun!!!
