Ask Me Anything!

Hi Friends! I hope you are all having a great week and that Spring has finally sprung where you are at! I am still trying to get back into the Blogging groove with two babies which at times seems absolutely impossible. Until then, I thought I would turn things over to you and allow you to ask me all those burning questions about me that you may have. I love reading Q and A posts on other blogs but have never actually done this myself. Now is as good of time as any since things are a tad bit crazy at the moment! I would also love to know more about what you like to read once I am back to regular blogging. You know what I love...decorating, cooking, and tips on making my life (and yours!) a lot easier...so what do you love???

Hope to hear from you all, I have always been afraid to do this just incase all I get is crickets!! So please help a girl out and send me a couple of questions, even if it's what I eat for breakfast:)
You can leave me your questions in my comment section or email me directly. I, of course, reserve the right to pick and choose the questions!

  1. Long time reader, first time commenter! I'm Allie and a 28 year old mom to a 16 month old. I recently found out I'm pregnant with #2 which was very unexpected as I had the Mirena. I'm the 0.1% apparently :) I cried at first because toddlerhood is wearing me thin, but after digesting the news, we are elated about the new addition to our family. My question is: In all honestly, how difficult was the transition from 1 to 2? What are some tips you have to make the transition easier? Anything you would have done differently?

Hope you have a great day :)

  3. Hi! I was wondering if you could offer some advice to working moms who want to make the transition to becoming a SAHM. And also, how are liking this new position? What are the pros and cons of both? Is Jillian in any kind of day care or Mom's Day Out program? Any tips on juggling the babies, toddlers, household, and husband are much appreciated :)

  5. I'm curious how Jillian reacted to her baby brother. We have baby #2 on the way too and I'm nervous about how my little mommy's-girl daughter is going to react!

  8. Hey, Karen! Hope all is going well and you are able to get some sleep;)

Would love to hear more about being pregnant and having a toddler to take care of. This scares me so much (Paul and I are on our second IVF cycle to try and have baby #2)...none of that put your feet up and go to bed early that happened when you were pregnant with your first, right?!

  9. Did you struggle with a lot of internal conflict when deciding to stay at home? I'm dealing with this and having a hard time actually leaving my job due to all the what ifs.

How is your older child adjusting to having a sibling?

How is it having two? Is the adjustment harder or easier than you thought?

  10. Hi Karen! I don't really have a question but just stumbled across your blog. I used to be part of the bloggy world awhile back (MereD19 - thencomebananas!) We used to talk quite a bit until I fell off the face of the world. :) We actually moved back to Ohio over the winter, and welcomed another baby girl in January! Congrats on your son ... and so good to "see" you on here again!

  12. Hi Karen, I've been a long time reader, and followed both your pregnancies :) I'm 29 and we are actually TTC. Any advice on that area? did you use charts? did you have to change your diet? Did you use any tricks in terms of pre-determining the gender? pls. only answer if you feel comfortable, I don't mean to be intrusive.

  13. Ooh love this idea! My questions (albeit superficial but fun):

What's the most sleep-deprived thing you've ever done as a mom?
What's your current favorite decor trend?
What's your current favorite fashion trend?
Favorite TV show? Like you have time to watch any, but you know. =]
