Hello friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful week! Well, the sickies have hit our home yet again, my sweet Jillian came down with the same nasty virus that Nicholas had last week so it was another fun filled four days spent in our home with no where to go. My poor sweet girl, I don't think I have ever seen her so sick. I am so ready for Winter and the sickies to be over with...bring on Spring!
I am excited to kick off the weekend with my family a lot healthier and linking up with Erika, Andrea and Narci with a Friday Favorites post. Here are a few of my favorites from this week....
Who watched our favorite Bachelor Prince Farming get engaged on Monday? If you have been reading my blog for awhile now, you know how much my sister and I love this show and it is the ONLY show that I will never miss. My obsession all began with the very first season with Andy and Trista and I have been hooked ever since. You would laugh watching my sister and I madly texting one another during every episode as the hubby stands by rolling his eyes. LOL! I personally think he loves the show too but will never admit it :)
I was so excited our Bachelor picked Whitney, she was my favorite ever since they crashed the wedding together. If you are a huge Bachelor fan like myself, be sure to read Shaeffer's Blog over at Pinterest Told Me To. She writes a hilarious and candid recap of every episode and I truly think her recaps are what I love even more about this show. My sister and I always wait in anticipation every week for Shaeffer's recap and will always text one another the moment it's up. It's THAT good.
I know it's a little early for Clevelanders to get too excited for Spring but I am! I can't help it. It's been a long Winter and anything over 10 degrees at this point feels balmy to us. After 3 months of the ground completely covered in snow, we are finally starting to see the grass again peeking through the melting snow.
The view from my home office has been so much more pleasant these days with all of the sunshine we have been having this week. It makes such a difference when the sun is shining!
The top item on my Spring Fashion Wish List this year is the Hunter Boot. I feel a little late to game with this but I have officially fallen in love and must have them!!!! Our Spring weather is always a bit on the cold and rainy side and these would be perfect for rainy mornings picking up Jillian from preschool.
I am on the hunt for Mint skinnies and I seem to be striking out. Old Navy has skinnies in "Ice Blue" but I am thinking these are more baby blue than mint.
During my search, I did happen to notice that all jeans and pants at Old Navy were on sale. I totally plan on taking advantage of this sale and stocking up on my favorite Rock Star Super Skinnies. What Mama doesn't need a new pair of skinny jeans for Spring?
Thanks to all of you who have inquired about my Rodan + Fields launch party so far!! It's still going on and anyone can attend. I am offering lots of freebies to anyone who places and order or becomes a Preferred customer. I'd love to e-mail or talk to you about this. E-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you're interested in learning more.
Each month I hope to do a freebie, giveaway, or just a deal! For the rest of March, any one who signs up to become a Preferred Customer I'm waiving or reimbursing their fee. Just in case you didn't know a Preferred Customer receives free shipping AND 10% off their orders. It usually has a one-time initial fee of $19.95, but for the next week I'll be happy to waive that for you!!
Hope you all have an amazing weekend!!
