What We Woke Up to This Morning

We were greeted this morning by over 8 inches of freshly fallen snow!!!

Cleveland has been hit with yet another snowstorm that will bring us another foot of snow when it's all said and done. The type of snow that is coming down is the very wet and heavy kind. The kind that makes driving horrendous and all of your trees bend sideways.

You can see in the above picture how heavy the snow is falling. I could barely see across the street it was coming down so hard. All of our trees and shrubs are dangerously bending over. Hopefully none of them will snap from the weight of the snow.

Thankfully I am off from work on Friday's and was able stay inside all warm and cozy with my baby girl while poor Jeff battled the elements!!! The city and our builder's plows had not made it to our little cul de sac this morning and everyone had to drive to work at their own risk!!! As soon as Jeff pulled out of the driveway this morning he was instantly stuck in the snow.

Thank the Lord for kind neighbors.  They were all outside snow blowing their driveways before work and happen to see Jeff become completely stuck.  So everyone walked over with their shovels in hand and dug him out. We are really truly blessed to live in such a great neighborhood where we would do anything to help each other out, especially during crazy times like these!!!!

In other news, my sweet girl is under the weather. I got the call from daycare yesterday to come get her early because of a mysterious rash all over her body coupled with a fever. Thankfully our pediatrician was still seeing patients even though it was late in the day. We rushed right over to the doctor's office for her to take a look at the mystery rash. Our doctor thinks the rash is from a virus, however, isn't ruling out a milk allergy either. I happen to be weaning Jillian off of formula this week and giving her a lot more milk so we now have to meet with an allergist next week before I can give her anymore milk. Poor thing can't catch a break!!! Pray for good news at the allergist this week and for no major allergies. Hopefully we can resume the formula weaning soon!!!
