Parade of Homes ~ Day 2 ~ Hamlett Daily Dose

Happy Tuesday friends!!!  Welcome to Day 2 of the Karen At Home Parade of Homes Tour.  I hope you enjoyed Day 1 with Decor and the Dog.  Wasn't her home amazing?  I just loved all of her beautifully painted rooms.  Such an awesome kick off to the tour!!

Just a reminder, the Parade of Homes goes through next Friday, April 13th. On Friday April 13th, there will be a linky party for everyone to link up their Homes!!! Please mark your calendar and start photographing those rooms in your home that you can't wait to show off!!!

Today we have Jenna from Hamlett Daily Dose.   Jenna and I have known each other since 2005 when we met on the Decorating and Renovating Board on The Nest.  It's hard to believe that we have known each other for 7 years!!!  Jenna has a beautiful home and I am so happy that she has agreed to open her doors to us today.  Enjoy!!!
Hi, everyone!  I'm excited to share my home with you today.  My name is Jenna and I'm a pharmacist and mom of 3 little ones (ages 4, 2, and 6 months).  My husband and I have lived in our home for almost 7 years.  I hope you enjoy touring our home!

First up is the master bedroom:

Next up is the master bath:

Next, we will take a peek into entryway:

Now the dining room:

We added DIY faux wainscotting:

Living Room:

Now we move into the laundry room.  My laundry room is tiny, so we had to optimize space as much as possible.  My husband built this shelf to fit over our laundry sorter.  He also installed the cabinets to store detergent, etc.  It was a huge improvement!

And of course, the kitchen.  We literally just had a backsplash installed last week.  I'm very happy with how it turned out!

Let's venture upstairs to the kids' rooms!  First up is Chase's nursery.  I didn't know if I was having a boy or girl, so I threw this together a couple months ago.  The walls were already green, so I just chose to add turquoise & brown and went with it.

  10. Thanks so much for all your kind words! And thanks to Karen for letting me showcase my house. Trust me, with 3 kids it is definitely not always that clean. My husband just could not understand why I was cleaning each room and taking pics. LOL :)
